The personal website of a Pittsburgh lawyer, intellectual, politico, and vegetarian

About David

I was born in Missouri and lived in North Carolina and Minnesota with my family before we moved to Pittsburgh when I was 13.  I have always found a multitude of ways to be active in the community, from academic organizations to church activities.  I am the kind of person who enjoys pushing things forward and introducing new ideas, no matter what I am doing.  I also enjoyed arguing for fun with my friends and family.  Everyone suggested that I become an attorney, and I am now in the last semester of studying for my law degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  In 2012, I will be a licensed attorney practicing in the Pittsburgh area.

I married my best friend, Heather, in January 2010, and we could not be happier.  I always say that she is kind of a hippie, and she helped convince me to become a vegetarian.  We love hanging out with friends and playing all sorts of games.

I really enjoy reading books in my free time.  I try to read about one book every week on average, but I am usually reading several different books at any given time.

Some people hate law school, but I enjoy it quite a bit.  I am glad that I am able to pursue my dream career as an attorney.
